Financial Settlement Deadlines
You must be financially settled one week prior to the start of your first class of the semester in order to remain registered.
Failure to meet the financial settlement deadline may result in being administratively withdrawn from courses for the semester and/or receiving a $150 late settlement fee.

Refund Percentages For Drops/Withdrawals By Date
Refund percentages are removed tuition charges from the student account. The last day to drop with a 100% refund on tuition and fees is prior to the first day of class. Fees are non-refundable once classes begin.
Student refunds will not be issued unless a credit is generated on your student account after the Student Accounts and Financial Aid Offices have finalized the withdrawal calculations. See Return and Repayment Policy for Title IV Funds page for more information.
Federal Aid Student Refund Dates
Academic Year Disbursements and Student Refunds by academic year:- First disbursement begins September 4, 2024
Eligible students can expect refunds to be processed by: September 18, 2024
- Second disbursement on October 25, 2024
Eligible students can expect refunds to be processed by: November 8, 2024
- First disbursement begins January 22, 2025
Eligible students can expect refunds to be processed by: February 5, 2025
- Second disbursement on March 25, 2025
Eligible students can expect refunds to be processed by: April 8, 2025

Loan Adjustment Requirements
You have the right to cancel all or a portion of this loan disbursement within 14 days after disbursement has been made. However, keep in mind any cancellation or reduction of loans may cause you to owe money to HCU. To cancel or reduce your loan, send a signed and dated request to reduce or cancel your loans to FinancialAid@HC.edu.
