You’re invited to experience our campus and culture alongside your HCU student during Family Weekend. Our goal is to bring our Husky Family to yours!
We would love to introduce you to Husky athletics, professors and staff, and many of our campus organizations as you engage in campus tours, photo opportunities, and plenty of Husky spirit. Your registration includes the day on Saturday; however, there are a number of other weekend activities that you are welcome to join, free of charge.
Online registration is now open for activities on October 11th and closes Friday, October 10, 2025.
Family Weekend is almost here! At this point in registration, we regret that we can no longer guarantee t-shirts or spirit items. However, we would still love for you to join us for Family Weekend activities and dinner at the Family Weekend Tailgate at a discounted rate of $10.

Family Weekend 2025 Schedule - Saturday, October 11th
Event Information
Date: Saturday, October 11th | 9 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Location: Morris Cultural Arts Center
The symposium serves educators and educational leaders, those who work in higher education, and those interested in research related to teaching and learning.
Breakout sessions will cover a gamut of topics focusing upon teaching, learning, and research. The sessions will be led by educators and scholars from multiple disciplines, subject-matter experts, and HCU graduate students.
The HCU Future Husky Cheer Clinic is designed to introduce participants to HCU Cheer and teach them basic cheer skills and cheer etiquette. The clinic is designed for participants: K-5th Grade, ages 5-11.
While not included with your Family Weekend registration, we want to invite you to visit the Pillars at HCU for lunch before festivities begin. This is complex includes Chick-fil-A, Blaze Pizza, Firehouse Subs, Chipotle, and Salata.
Husky Gear Up! University Store, MD Anderson
Utilize your 20% off Family Weekend discount and add to your Husky spirit gear! The discount is valid for one item in the University Store, excluding books and food.
Java Break! Java City, Moody Library
Visit our campus coffee shop, Java City, in Moody Library for seasonal beverages and sweet treats. Coffee shop treats and beverages are not included in your Family Weekend registration cost.

When you arrive to campus, please check-in at the Morris Family Center for Law & Liberty where you will receive schedule information, your welcome bag & t-shirt, and wrist band to get into all Family Weekend festivities.

Don’t miss these exciting Husky photo ops! At Morris Family Center for Law & Liberty , we’ll have a FAMILY sign in front of the building to commemorate the day with your Husky. Step into “HUSKIES” at the soccer fields for a silly family picture, visit the Collegium for all-things-Husky, or embrace HCU’s desire for all to feel welcome at the University Academic Center’s “You Belong Here” mural.

We’re so excited to have you on campus for Family Weekend 2025! Check-in will be in the Morris Family Center for Law & Liberty (designated with MCLL on the map), so the best places to park are lots 2 and 3. On October 11, families and students are allowed to park anywhere that is not faculty/staff parking.
