Replacement Diploma Order

To request a replacement copy of your diploma, you must complete the Replacement Diploma Order Form. This form must be turned into the Office of Academic Records (Brown Administrative Complex 154) along with the payment receipt provided by the Student Accounts Office. If you are not able to come to HCU, you should send the completed Replacement Diploma Order Form to studentaccounts@hc.edu. Options for ordering are listed below.

  • $60 – Diploma will be printed with our next bulk order (allow 6-8 weeks after the next published commencement date).
  • $100 – Diploma will be requested from our vendor within 1-2 business days after the Replacement Diploma Order Form is received (allow 4-6 weeks for printing).

In either case, you will be notified when your diploma is available for mailing or pick up on campus. If you would like to send a proxy to pick up your diploma, please send an email to academicrecords@hc.edu with the name of the individual to whom we may release the diploma. Anyone picking up a diploma in person must show photo ID.

NOTE: As of August 1, 2023, all diplomas (including replacement orders) will bear the name and seal for Houston Christian University.

For graduating students, the estimated processing time is 6-8 weeks after commencement. Fall graduates should expect a delay due to the scheduled holiday break.
