Jonathan Rangel-Salazar is a class of 2019 Education major with a Spanish certification for K-12. He was crowned Homecoming King in Fall 2017 and Mr. HCU in 2019. He served with the Baptist Student Ministries and started the first-ever Spanish Bible study, Profundo, at HCU. He served as a Husky Ambassador and was involved with the LSSI (Latino Student Success Initiative). Jonathan is the first person in his family to graduate from college.
