Spirit Team Appearance Request Houston Christian University is blessed to have a wonderful spirit program comprised of our HCU cheerleaders, a costumed Mascot (Mingo), and a live Siberian Husky, Wakiza IV! Our Spirit Teams make appearances on campus and around the city! If you are interested in an appearance by one of our HCU Spirit Teams, please fill out the request form and we will be sure to connect! Utilize Kiza IV or Mingo to: Boost HCU spirit Take pictures! Disclaimer: Cheer and mascot appearances are subject to availability and approval. Submitting the form does not guarantee appearance. You will be contacted to confirm your event appearance. All forms must be submitted at least 2 weeks prior to the event to be considered. Requests for cheerleaders of more than 4 or with a performance require at least 4 weeks and a program donation.
