Fall Application Deadlines

Apply Early for Fall! Houston Christian University’s application deadline is August 1st for the Fall semester.

We highly encourage all prospective students to apply before this date to increase your chances of admission. Applications received after August 1st will be considered on a space available basis as we begin to fill up our incoming class.

Don’t wait until the last minute! Set a goal to submit your application and be prepared to allow plenty of time for processing and reviewing your application materials.

Admitted and Transient Students

Are you a previously admitted student or a transient student looking to continue your academic journey with HCU? We are thrilled and ready to help you take the next steps. You don’t need to re-apply and the process to becoming a Husky is straightforward.

We can’t wait to welcome you back.

Previous Undergraduate Applicants

If you have been admitted to HCU within the last year but did not attend, you do not have to re-apply. Instead, please complete the online update form.

Previous HCU Students

If you have previously attended HCU and wish to return please see the re-admission process.

Transient Students

Transient students are current undergraduate students at a university other than HCU who desire to enroll at HCU for a single term with the intention of returning to their university. This excludes students who have already earned a bachelor’s degree.
