Welcome Days is a free, three-and-a-half-day extended orientation designed to help you feel confident, connected, and excited for your first semester at HCU. Best of all, as an incoming Freshman or Transfer student, you’re automatically registered! Just show up and get ready to meet new friends, explore campus, and experience what it means to be part of the Husky family.
Why Attend Welcome Days?
Throughout Welcome Days, you’ll be guided by HCU’s Student Pack Leaders who are passionate about helping new Freshmen and Transfer students make a successful transition to college. They’ve been where you are and are ready to share advice on classes, campus life, student organizations, the best places to eat and explore in Houston, and the resources that will help you thrive at HCU.
As you make new connections and create lasting memories, you’ll also enjoy free meals and snacks, exclusive HCU swag, exciting giveaways, interactive activities, and plenty of opportunities to connect with your fellow Huskies. Welcome Days is your chance to kick off the year with confidence, school spirit, and everything you need to start your HCU journey strong.
