MLA Formatting Workshop September 16, 2025 — 12:00 p.m. This workshop provides hands-on instruction for properly formatting academic papers and citing sources using MLA (Modern Language Association) style. Students will learn to create in-text citations, Works Cited pages, and format their documents according to current MLA Guidelines. APA Formatting Workshop October 14, 2025 — 12:00 pm This workshop provides hands-on instruction for properly formatting academic papers and citing sources using APA (American Psychological Association) style. Students will learn to create in-text citations, reference pages, and format their documents according to current APA guidelines. MS Word and Google Docs for Academic Writing November 11, 2025 @ 12:00 pm This workshop introduces essential features of MS Word and Google Docs for academic writing, including document formatting, collaborative tools like track changes and comments, and built-in citation generators. Students will gain practical skills for creating professional documents, receiving feedback, and managing their writing projects efficiently in both platforms. Fundamentals of Academic Writing November 13, 2023 @ 12:00 pm (online only) This online workshop covers the fundamentals of academic writing, including thesis development, paragraph structure, evidence integration, and formal tone.
