    • once the materials are returned, then we will manually opt you out and process the refund.
  • If the student drops a course that has physical materials provided through the program, the student must return that material. Please note that students receive an automated email when a course with physical materials is dropped with instructions to return their materials. Students will not be able to opt out of the program until all physical materials are returned. The $5 is not an additional charge added to the student account; it is an additional purchase the student will pay for at the time of ordering their materials. When sending it back, the student would go through their preferred shipping method, they would not use the same $5 shipping method as before.

  • Starting Monday, December 23rd, physical materials for online students will be shipped free of charge to the address on file with the school.

On-campus students who would like their physical materials shipped can purchase shipping and handling for $5 through the HCUBookPass.com website.

  • For digital materials, students will be able to access those materials for a minimum of 180 days (i.e. the semester). Each material’s access is dependent on the publisher’s terms and may well exceed the 180-day minimum.

  • All required course materials are provided in BookPass.

  • Recommended or optional materials are not provided in BookPass.

  • Some HCU courses (for example, Honors College courses) require students to read some of the assigned books before the semester starts. We are working with our vendor to find a way for students to be able to do this with as much time as possible. For now, however, students will have access beginning Aug. 11, 2024.

  • Please contact the campus store via email at HCUBookPass@bkstr.com.
