The Office of Alumni Relations is excited to continue our newest family tradition – The Husky Pups Club!

Husky Pups is a special club just for your children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Your kids will grow up surrounded by the same Husky community and spirit you grew to love as a student or University friend. Give your favorite Husky Pup an experience of a lifetime with fun events, traditions, and benefits for kids ages 0-12!

Your membership will include a Husky Pup t-shirt, membership certificate, and a birthday card from Mingo and Kiza! You will need to wear your t-shirt for access to Husky Pups events and perks. Memberships run from August to June. Sign up now and join the fun!

First-Time Member Registration Fee: Returning Member Registration Fee:

Pups, Pizza, & Popsicles - August 1, 2025 | 5 - 6:30 PM

Your Husky Pup will have the opportunity to visit Hinton House | Alumni Center for some delicious pizza. To cool off, there will be fun backyard water games. You will also pick up your Husky Pup Pack and get geared up for an awesome year!

Husky Pups at Husky Stadium - September 20, 2025 | 5 PM

Your Husky Pup will get to spend time at Husky Stadium with our friends from HCU Football and HCU Cheer. They will get to interact with our amazing students, and mascots, make a Husky Band buddy, and learn more about Husky spirit. (Parents will need to purchase a discounted ticket for the game.)

Homecoming* - November 8, 2025 | 10 AM

Join Us for Homecoming Weekend! Enjoy lunch and games at the tent in Holcombe Mall, and then cheer on the Huskies at the Homecoming football game in Husky Stadium!

Santa, Mingo, & Me* - December 6, 2025 | 10 AM

Come join Santa and Mingo for a jolly holiday morning! Enjoy a delicious breakfast, crafts, and plenty of Christmas cheer at the Morris Family Center for Law & Liberty.

Throwback Basketball Game - TBA - February 2026

Come cheer on our Basketball team as they "Turn Back the Clock" with their annual throwback game and uniforms! Enjoy food, fellowship, and fun at a Husky Social Hour in Glasscock Lobby after the game.

Husky Hustle - 25th Annual 5K Fun Run & Walk* - February 28, 2026 | 8 AM Start

Lace up your running shoes and get a discounted entry into the Husky Hustle Kids 1K Race! Each pup will receive a prize for participating. Parents can Run or Walk the 5k,enjoy breakfast, and join the medal award ceremony.

Easter Egg Hunt - March 28, 2026 | 10 AM

Your Husky Pup will get to join us at M.D. Anderson Student Center for snacks, an exciting Easter egg hunt, and fun Easter crafts.

Mingo & Kiza Husky Party - June 13, 2026 | 10 AM

Join us for a HUSKY PARTY to celebrate Kiza’s Birthday. There will be fun activities, pizza, cold treats,prizes and more!

Do I Need to Attend the Events with My Pup?

Yes! Although we love your pups, it is important that you be there to keep track and enjoy the fun with them.

How Much is the Husky Pup Club?

For just $30, your pup will get to enjoy 7+ events, get a membership certificate, swag and more!!

How Long Does the Membership Last?

Memberships will run throughout the school year! From August to June, your pup will get to enjoy all the fun!
