Speakers:

Ted Collier

Ted Collier is the president and founder of AVEX LLC, a Houston based audiovisual technology solutions company that offers full scope AV solutions to clients in multiple industries since 2015. After starting a career with General Electric upon graduation, Ted founded his first company in the AV industry, Audio Communications Corporation in Houston. Ted has worked with thousands of customers over the years and built a loyal following of repeat business. Ted is member of Houston’s Second Baptist Church. He holds a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from The University of Texas in Austin.


Anthony Flynn

Anthony Flynn is the CEO of WorkFaith Connection. He has been a leader with Fortune 100 giants (e.g., Kraft Foods, RJ Reynolds and 3M) and a featured speaker at universities including Harvard and on Biz1190 (Wall Street Journal syndicated radio show), TEDx, Q Conference and other media channels. He is the author of The Execution Pipeline: A Step-by-Step Guide to Moving Your Business Idea from Dream to Reality and The Happiness Map: Finding Fulfillment in Life and Work. Anthony graduated from the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Program in 2017 where he won 1st place for the business pitch competition. As a trusted advisor to senior executives, he has consulted with many high net-worth individuals, companies, professional athletes, small businesses, non-profit organizations and churches. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Sales from The University of Memphis and a Master of Arts in Religion from Memphis Theological Seminary.


Brent Phillips

South African born and raised Brent Phillips has always had a passion for tech, business and the gospel. After earning his masters’ degree in information technology, Brent launched his first US-based company in Aspen, Colorado. Brent engineered one of the first versions of the “cloud” while simultaneously becoming an ordained pastor. Later after moving to Houston, Brent planted Sandbox Church and co-founded 2nd.MD, which revolutionized telemedicine through technology. 2nd.MD was purchased by Accolade in 2021 for $460 million. After the sale of 2nd.MD, Brent handed over the church and moved his family out to an abandoned horse ranch where he has built a multi-family, self-sustainable farm resort with over 400 animals, 60 different fruit varieties and aquaponic farming (Milk & Honey Ranch). Brent’s latest venture is Luep, a highly secure communication and community platform for businesses, churches, schools and organizations that is becoming a player on the world stage.


Chris Staffel

Chris Staffel is a serial entrepreneur and investor with experience in both startups and publicly traded companies spanning the energy, healthcare, and agricultural sectors. Over her career, she has built startup companies with an aggregate exit valuation of $1.38 Billion. Leveraging her entrepreneurial credentials, Chris brings a wealth of in-house experience in executing strategic decisions from start to finish in the lifecycle of a company, building the right teams, acquisition and divestitures of assets and exit strategy execution. As an investor, Chris has a deep passion for helping other entrepreneurs fund early-stage ventures while working to dispel wealth inequality among underrepresented founders. Chris holds an MBA (Rice), MFA (UCF), and BM (Wheaton) and is passionate about lifelong learning and the intersection of faith and business.
