Speakers:

Paul Oliphant

Paul Oliphant is Senior Vice President of Finance at Velentium, a Houston-based medical device design, development and manufacturing company. Having started his career in public accounting, Paul moved into industry and worked for a mix of public and private companies, including several private equity backed companies as CFO, overseeing the finance, accounting, IT, legal and HR functions. He has led two initial public offerings, and was a founding partner in a start-up that designed, financed, built, and operated a $200M FERC jurisdictional underground natural gas facility. During the COVID crisis, Paul was an instrumental team lead of Velentium’s “Project V Ventilator Project” that partnered with Ventec and General Motors to produce ventilators for the national ventilator stockpile. A CPA and a graduate of Texas A&M, Paul is married to his wife for 25 years and together they raised four sons who range from college to middle school age.


Susan Saurage-Altenloh

Susan Saurage-Altenloh, Ph.D., is Founder and Chief Insights Officer of Saurage Marketing Research and appears regularly on television as an expert in market information and research trends. For nearly 30 years, Fortune 500 companies have turned to Susan for answers about American consumer and business-to-business marketing. Susan has facilitated more than 15,000 qualitative sessions and managed thousands of surveys and studies to help people understand issues crucial to their success. She has won numerous regional and national awards for her unique approach to uncovering data and helping marketers transform it into big ideas. She has authored numerous articles for national and regional business publications including Marketing News, Quirk’s Marketing Research Review, Enterprising Women, Houston Business Journal, DBA Houston and TheModerator.net. 


Jeremy Stovall

Jeremy Stovall is President of Brookstone Construction, a Houston based commercial construction company serving diverse markets in the community/religious, education, healthcare, municipal and aviation/industrial sectors. Growing up in the small east Texas town of Alba as the son of a Baptist minister, Jeremy developed a passion for projects that enhance faith, the community, and human experience. While pursuing a degree in construction science from Texas A&M University, Jeremy interned with Brookstone and joined full-time following graduation. Jeremy serves as a board member with the Associated General Contractors (AGC) Houston Chapter and AGC Texas Building Branch, and is actively involved in leadership at Texas A&M University’s Construction Industry Advisory Council and the Dean’s Advisory Board for the School of Architecture. In his spare time, he enjoys camping and spending time with his wife Janet, and their three children.


Robin Sturgis

Robin Sturgis is the founder and CEO of infoFluency, a data analytic firm. With 25 years of experience in emerging technologies and cloud-based platforms, she is skilled in databases, data visualization, data management, and data-centered software. She specializes in bridging the gap between business and technology groups, with her knack for putting tech solutions into understandable business terms. Robin enjoys time with family and being outdoors. She is a wife, mom, grandmom, runner, follower of Jesus, and a proud Aggie.
