The Stewart Morris Endowed Scholarship was created by HCU founding father, Dr. Stewart Morris, Sr. The scholarship has been created to enable transfer students from Wharton County Junior College (Wharton location) and high school graduates from Wharton ISD and surrounding small towns to pursue their undergraduate degree at Houston Christian University. First-generation college students and Wharton ISD or Wharton County Junior College students will be given preference.
