Eta Sigma Alpha, National Home School Honor Society Scholarship
Members of Eta Sigma Alpha National Home School Honor Society will receive $1,000 per year.
This scholarship is renewable up to four years and is stackable with the Christian Forensics Scholarship and Freshman Merit Awards. Students must enroll at HCU as a freshman to claim their award. Apply to HCU now!

Eta Sigma Alpha Mission Statement
“The purpose of Eta Sigma Alpha National Home School Honor Society shall be to recognize and encourage scholarship among home school students. To achieve this purpose, Eta Sigma Alpha National Home School Honor Society shall provide opportunities for the development of leadership and service. Eta Sigma Alpha shall encourage the development of an intellectual climate that will stimulate the exchange of ideas and ideals, foster scholarship, and promote academic excellence. Eta Sigma Alpha shall also advocate homeschooling as a viable and successful educational methodology and act as a liaison for homeschooling to the general public, colleges/universities, and the media.”.

Christian Forensics Scholarship
How to Qualify:
A top ten placement Team Policy or Lincoln-Douglas debate at an NCFCA national tournament.
- First and Second place would receive $1,500 per year
- Third through Tenth place would receive $1,000 per year
This scholarship is renewable up to four years.
- Students must enroll at HCU as a freshman to claim their award.
- High school sophomores and juniors can also qualify and will receive their award upon enrollment at HCU.
- Students are only eligible to receive one scholarship for their highest placement in a national tournament.
