Inspire Women is pleased to announce the establishment of the Robert & Sue Sloan Scholarship Fund at Houston Christian University (HCU), honoring the life, legacy, and leadership of Dr. Robert Sloan, immediate Past President of HCU.
The Robert & Sue Sloan Scholarship Fund will provide $25,000 in scholarship support for the 2026–2027 academic year, with awards available to eligible female undergraduate and graduate students at Houston Christian University.
How to Be Considered
HCU female students who wish to be considered for this scholarship opportunity must register for and attend the 26th Annual Inspire Women Conference.
Date: Saturday, November 14, 2026.
Time: 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Location: Living Word Fellowship, 7350 T.C. Jester Blvd., Houston, TX 77088.
Free Registration for HCU Students
The regular conference registration fee is $45, but HCU students can receive 100% off their registration fee by using the special HCU discount code HCU100.
Students must register using the special code and attend the conference to be considered for the scholarship opportunity.
Scholarship Application Process
Following the conference, students who attended will be contacted directly by Inspire Women and invited to apply for the Robert & Sue Sloan Scholarship.
Inspire Women will review all submitted applications and announce scholarship awards no later than November 30, 2026.
Individual scholarship awards will be based on the student’s application and demonstrated need and qualifications. Awards are anticipated to range from approximately $1,000 to $5,000 per student.
Inspire Women will provide Houston Christian University with a list of scholarship recipients and award amounts so that the scholarships may be credited toward each student’s tuition.
