A new documentary features an extensive interview with JOSHUA SIKORA, Chair of Cinema, Media Arts, & Writing, exploring the cinematic and mythological foundations of George Lucas’ Star Wars saga, expanding on topics he explored in courses at HBU and in his popular essay series Great Shots of the Saga. The feature-length film, entitled The Prequels Strike Back, was directed and produced by Austin-based filmmaker Bradley Weatherholt and includes interviews with a diverse list of film scholars, critics, filmmakers and fans including professors from Harvard and the University of Toronto and celebrities like Kevin Smith.
