Family Weekend 2025

You’re invited to experience our campus and culture alongside your HCU student during Family Weekend. Our goal is to bring our Husky Family to yours!

We would love to introduce you to Husky athletics, professors and staff, and many of our campus organizations as you engage in campus tours, photo opportunities, and plenty of Husky spirit. Your registration includes the day on Saturday; however, there are a number of other weekend activities that you are welcome to join, free of charge.

Online registration is now open for activities on October 11th and closes Friday, October 10, 2025. See registration costs below.

Adult/Student Registration Includes:

  1.  A super soft Family Weekend t-shirt
  2.  One HCU spirit item
  3.  Entry to the HCU football and volleyball games
  4.  Dinner at the Family Weekend Tailgate
  5.  One spirit button to show your HCU pride – Husky Mom, Husky Dad, or Husky spirit
  6.  Admittance to all Family Weekend activities

*Refunds: If you need to cancel your registration, please email the Family Weekend Team by Friday, October 3, 2025. After this date, refunds will not be issued due to program planning. We’re so sorry for the inconvenience!

This is our best rate, designed specifically with new students in mind – though open to everyone.

New students, while you are at GO orientation, take advantage of this great deal and make plans to join us for Family Weekend!

Early-Bird Rates (through June 30)

Adults (ages 12+) – $10.00/person
Children (ages 6 – 11) – $5.00/person (Youth M t-shirt and wristband for food/athletics/activities only)
Children (ages 5 and under) – Free (wristband for food/athletics/activities only, doesn’t include a t-shirt)
HCU current students/ HCU faculty and staff – Free (must complete registration)

Family Weekend 2025 Schedule - Saturday, October 11th

  • Event Information

    Date: Saturday, October 11th  |  9 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

    Location: Morris Cultural Arts Center

    The symposium serves educators and educational leaders, those who work in higher education, and those interested in research related to teaching and learning.

    Breakout sessions will cover a gamut of topics focusing upon teaching, learning, and research. The sessions will be led by educators and scholars from multiple disciplines, subject-matter experts, and HCU graduate students.

  • While not included with your Family Weekend registration, we want to invite you to visit the HCU Pillars for lunch before festivities begin. This is complex includes Chick-fil-A, Blaze Pizza, Firehouse Subs, Chipotle, and Salata.

    Utilize your 20% off Family Weekend discount and add to your Husky spirit gear! The discount is valid for one item in the University Store, excluding books and food.

    When you arrive to campus, please check-in at the Morris Family Center for Law & Liberty where you will receive schedule information, your welcome bag & t-shirt, and wrist band to get into all Family Weekend festivities.

    Wondering where everything is on campus? Participate in a self-guided campus tour and learn where your student is going to class, eating, and studying. We’ll provide the map with plenty of exciting places to see!

    Enjoy this self-guided tour through this iconic replica of Independence Hall. This new addition to our Husky campus is a stunning reminder of our country’s legacy and foundation.

    Don’t miss these exciting Husky photo ops! At Morris Family Center for Law & Liberty , we’ll have a FAMILY sign in front of the building to commemorate the day with your Husky. Step into “HUSKIES” at the soccer fields for a silly family picture or embrace HCU’s desire for all to feel welcome at the University Academic Center’s “You Belong Here” mural.

    Sharp Gym

    Cheer our Husky volleyball team to victory! Admission is included with your Family Weekend wristband.

  • Husky Bingo
    Dillon II, Hinton Center

    Win great prizes and challenge your fellow Huskies to an exciting game of Bingo! Greek Life will be hosting the event, so come get to know some of our amazing student leaders. Come and go as you can.

  • Collegium Commuter Lounge

    Join our Commuter Student Team to learn more about this exciting space, exclusively for commuter students. The lounge has been recently updated, and we are excited to show it off!

    Your student is here to be academically challenged and to grow in their professional aptitude. We want you to meet the professors and staff that make that happen!

    While you’re in the library, visit Java City for coffee, tea, and treats (not included in registration).

    If your student is in the Honors College, visit the Honors College Open House and learn more about this program and the academic and social benefits that it offers.

Important Information

HCU Campus Map

We’re so excited to have you on campus for Family Weekend 2025! Check-in will be in the Morris Family Center for Law & Liberty (designated with MCLL on the map), so the best places to park are lots 2 and 3. On October 11, families and students are allowed to park anywhere that is not faculty/staff parking.
