Dr. Collin Garbarino, director of Graduate Programs in Humanities and associate professor of History, was interviewed on March 15 by Rusty Humphries on the radio program “Trending Today USA.” They talked about the themes present in the movie “Kong: Skull Island.” Dr. Garbarino has published six movie reviews with “The Federalist” this year. His reviews attempt to explain the underlying worldview in popular films. Earlier this year, he also wrote a book review for The Gospel Coalition on Larry Hurtado’s recent book Destroyer of the gods, a book which looks at Christian distinctiveness in the Roman world.
