About Us
Houston Christian University Mock Trial is a competitive, campus organization affiliated with the American Mock Trial Association (AMTA). Our team prepares and competes in intercollegiate mock trial tournaments by simulating real courtroom trials, with students serving as attorneys and witnesses. Members develop skills in public speaking, critical thinking, legal reasoning, and teamwork while engaging with realistic case materials judged by legal professionals. Open to students of all majors, HCU Mock Trial provides valuable experience for anyone interested in law, advocacy, or persuasive communication.
Membership
The team is always looking for any members who wish to develop their rhetoric and public speaking skills, train vital skills necessary for law school and other professional areas of life, and have a fun time doing it!
Team membership requires only that you are a student at Houston Christian University.
