Jazz Band at HCU is a student group dedicated to appreciating and performing jazz music! The purpose of the Jazz Band is to provide an opportunity for students to engage in the distinctly American art form of jazz music. Through performances and jam sessions, students will be able to learn about and practice the standard repertoire of the genre as well as interpret other works within the framework of jazz. This organization will also allow students to participate in a different form of music. While this organization will mainly focus on members of the School of Music, it will be open to all students.
