Advising in the College of Science and Engineering
The College of Science and Engineering (COSE) provides academic advising for students who have chosen to major in the sciences, math or engineering. Each student is assigned to an academic advisor correlating with the chosen major after the student has registered for classes.
Students will meet with their academic advisor at least once per semester to choose courses for registration and to discuss career goals and other items of interest. Advice for course selections is based upon the majors the student has selected and their specific career plans. Prospective students may speak with the Professional Experience Office to discuss career opportunities, as well as curriculum and course planning.
Many forms that you may need for your advising sessions can be found and printed from the Registrar’s page. Other helpful resources are the University catalog and calendar.
